Keen to be a volunteer?
Our second hand Variety Shop is looking to increase our volunteer numbers. We are a small team, in a small shop, so we have been looking at diversifying our operations so we can provide the same great service in front of shop, and get the donations sorted and priced out back in a timely manner, so our customers get to grab some awesome bargains. To do this, without overloading our already incredible crew, we are needing more Sorters, over most days of the week. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
