Village Bryndwr Pop-Up Market this Saturday
The Village Church Community Centre's new Market is held in our new building cnr Ilam & Aorangi Rds first Saturdays of the month 9.30am-12noon. This is run in conjunction with our weekly Clothing Shop. Quality household items, baking, retro & bits & pieces. Donations of good quality items are always welcome contact our office: 351-6664 for pickups!
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
