March 15 National Remembrance Service: What you need to know
Those attending the Christchurch remembrance service for the victims of the March 15 terror attacks should leave bags at home and use park and ride services to get there.
The National Remembrance Service will start at 3pm on Sunday at Horncastle Arena in Addington, a new venue to cater for the forecast bad weather.
Free park and ride buses will run from the University of Canterbury's Arts car park and from Eastgate Mall at from 1pm to 2.30pm. Return buses will leave from Lincoln Rd after the service. No parking is available outside the arena.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
