Even though it was close to the epicenter, it has suffered very little property and infrastructure damage. Having said that, the people of Hanmer are delivering numerous care packages to Waiau, Cheviot and organizing more packages to get through to their friends, family and others in Kaikoura. Times like this we pull together and make sacrifices.

Grey Mazda Bounty EPP79. Stolen from a home when they left for Tsunami warning, along with a lot of household items. Please keep an eye out and notify police if you saw anything or have seen the work truck. Reports now that four homes have been looted. Disgusting.

Eastsiders - remember back in February 2011 when the people of New Zealand humbled us with their support, kindness and love? Well, now it's time to pay that kindness forward.
In conjunction with the response by Miss Lilly's in Rangiora, there are helicopters heading north for the next couple of days and we want to fill them with goodness.

Spent $800 on the ops and cant afford to do more ops. He is not sick and has been feeding properly - pellets and water every day. Just needs a hair cut as his poo and wee gets stuck in his long hair and nails cut (as i have lost my scissors). I am happy to give away Oscars cage and remaining food. I love Oscar very much and just want him to go to a loving home. I thought I had found a home for him but the person decided not to take him.
