Everyone who works or owns a business in New Zealand pays levies. Your levy goes towards insuring and protecting your most important assets – you and your people.
Annual ACC invoices for businesses are sent out from 9 July and there’s a few things you need to know to make the process a whole lot easier.
If your details or circumstances have changed since last year, you can update these online. If you do this by 22 June, we can invoice you correctly.
Check out our guide to ACC levies and get it done online.

The reason for the opposition to changes to our community roads is due to a number of reasons.
You just have to look at the proposed route to see it causes more problems than it solves.
We are not against change and progress, but for this project to be rehashed a number of times in various different forms and then seemingly tried to be snuck in through the back door in the form of a pamphlet which a lot of residents didn’t receive or threw away as it only stated in its title Cranford Street, is quite disingenuous.
Its uncertain just how many cars will be diverted through our streets but the numbers are quite frightening, a 2015 estimate of traffic volume decrease on both Main North Rd and Marshlands Rd add up to 26,000 which is the number that may be heading down/up the Cranford St on/off ramp every day.
If only a third of those cars made their way down Warrington and Berwick Streets we are talking about a car every second for 3 hours solid on top of the existing traffic.
The council have told us to expect an increase in traffic of over 30% with a further increase in the future.
What does this really mean for us?
We feel our community is being compromised,
Please sign the online petition and support our community.

The council have said they will be abit lenient on the deadline by a few days with the handwritten submissions due to postal cutbacks.
The more people that submit the greater the community voice and the larger impact we can have on decisions being made.

When it comes to an Earth-friendly wood, bamboo's hard to beat. And in the hands of local designers Bevan Whiting and Andrew Veitch, it's being turned into beautiful and innovative home products.
See how they find creative ways to showcase bamboo's sustainable wow factor, here.
