Poll: Should a regional rate be used to cover Christchurch stadium operating costs?

Nicole Mathewson Reporter from The Press

Mayors from across Canterbury are prepared to discuss a rates contribution towards the operating costs of Christchurch's in-development stadium.

But they have "a raft of quite meaty" questions over how it would be governed and how the contributions would be divided between regions.

This is a treatment that will permanently remove ALL HAIR TYPES unlike laser which only works successfully on medium/dark hair. I need someone who is available between the hours of 9am to 1pm for approx 1hr sessions once to twice a week ( depending on my timetable) Male or female it doesn't matter. I would prefer someone who is available during the above times on a regular basis but would also be ok if 2 or 3 people would like to share the appointments. I just need someone who's reliable and if they've had it done before and know what it entails, even better😊. Please contact me on 0273830050 or this site, if you think you're up for the challenge and want to be hair free in 2019.
Looking forward to hearing from you..........
Cheers Fiona

Hi neighbours,

Christmas is supposed to be the jolliest time of year - full of whimsical family reunions, selfless gift-giving and Masterchef-worthy feasts.

But sometimes this just isn't captured on camera. We're after those amazingly awkward Christmas moments that have been captured on film.

Maybe it was the time you went to visit Santa and your little one didn't want a bar of it. Maybe it was a self-timed family shot that went horribly awry. Or a Christmas meal that was more a festive fail.

Whatever the not-so-merry moment, we want to see it! Share your pictures and a little bit about them with us in Stuff Nation. We look forward to seeing them! Here's the link to contribute.

Come along to our free public lecture: on Sunday, December 2nd at 2pm at The Sydenham Room, South Christchurch Library, 66 Colombo St.

For many people, it is time to explore a deeper meaning of life — to know thyself‚ as the ancient philosophers urged. One way to do this is through studying with the Rosicrucian Order.

You will explore how the human mind works, learn self healing techniques, unleash your full creative potential, empower yourself to achieve new goals, practise effective meditation to realise inner peace and harmony, and most importantly, discover your mystical connection with the universe. All this is done through home learning and personal experimentation, although there are local groups to join if you wish.

The Rosicrucian Order AMORC is nonprofit, non-religious, non-political. It is an international organisation — the largest of its kind in the western world — of educators, students and seekers exploring inner wisdom and the meaning of life.

To find out if The Rosicrucian Order can benefit you, go to the website www.amorc.org.au, or for the free, no obligation booklet Mastery Of Life phone 027 552 7777, or email nzrc@amorc.org.au
