The free outdoor Christmas concert, usually attracts tens of thousands of Kiwi families at Christchurch’s Hagley Park and the Auckland Domain.

“Given the immense amount of planning and work involved in Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park, we’ve had to make the sad decision to postpone until next year due to the current uncertainty of Covid-19 restrictions around large public events," Annette Chillingworth, from Coca-Cola NZ, says.

Organisers are now looking towards how they could make the 2021 event "bigger and more spectacular than ever before".

The office work was being hampered by 2 dogs and a Burmese cat sulking because the house is too quiet and demanding attention so we (animals and i) have made the executive decision for a little netflix binge in front of our lovely warm heat pump.

If your feeling cold on this miserable Autumn day start thinking about a new heat pump and or better lighting. We can remove your current worn out heat pump and install a new one or do a totally new install. Best of all we take away the old ones, decommison and as always recycle.

LEDs lighting also warms and brightens. You get more light for less power and they last far longer. We also use local Christchurch made lights, which is even better.

Feel free to ring Patrick in 021525123, email elusionelectrical@gmail.com. You can also google Elusion Electrical to find our website.

Central Christchurch housing developers have received $13 million in rebates from ratepayers in the past six years.

The council is considering whether to continue the scheme designed to encourage post-quake residential development in the CBD or let it expire on June 30.

Developers are calling on the council to continue the scheme, especially if it wants to reach its target of increasing the central city population to 20,000 by 2028, but opponents say the rebate is propping up "wealthy developers" at the expense of ratepayers.

Read more here and tell us what you think of the scheme in the comments below.

Small businesses are vital to the recovery of our economy.

During the Covid-19 restrictions, business owners have shown initiative, hard work and resilience to keep afloat.

But many have been hit hard.

Lack of clarity about just how heavy the toll of the restrictions have been on individual businesses and their ability to quickly rebound adds to the uncertainty of the national economic recovery.

Therefore, Prosper is launching a survey targeted at finding out the scale of Covid-19's impact.

You can take that survey right now – it will only take a few minutes.
