KINDLING FUNDRAISER
My sons are off to Australia with their Shirley Boys High cricket team in September and I am making them raise half the cost of their trip.

$10 per box.

We can deliver 6 boxes or more for free within the Chch area (at a time that suits)

My son's have also made a splitter box to help split the kindling if you want and they are selling these for $10.

Photo 3 shows the splitter block and the last photo shows how much kindling you get if you split just one $10 box.

Kindling can also be picked up from either Burwood or Harewood (Near Bishopdale)

For any elderly people living in the Brighton area (or nearish to Burwood rd) we will happily deliver a single box if that is all you need as we have had a few elderly men and woman whom aren't able to get out and don't require 6 boxes. Would rather drop a box off to you than you be cold.

They have sold a lot to very happy people but still have boxes left.

Price: $10

Almost a quarter of young people say the older generations should help first-home buyers into the property market, a new survey shows.

Westpac NZ polled 1000 people about their opinion on parents assisting their children into their first homes.

It found widespread acceptance of the idea: More than half the parents said they would loan money interest-free and only 38 per cent would expect it to be paid back.

Her mums been out looking everywhere. She could be all the way between nth beach and Shirley and may be injured. Please check your gardens or empty sections.
As a dog lover this distresses us. We saw her but she was gone by the time we got there, probably hiding.
This is also up on NEW bRIGHTON REPUBLICS messages online so check there for updates.

Like the people in this article i was told last year that i had to change to wireless as copper lines were being phased out and i would have no phone or internet if i didnt change. I also know of some elderly people that have been told the same information. Just curious to see how many others are out there who have been told the same, It seems this is not the case....The incident comes as the Commerce Commission assesses a complaint that Spark may have breached the Fair Trading Act by encouraging copper home phone customers to switch to wireless broadband through a practice known as "inertia selling" – an allegation that Spark has denied.
