Since returning to the South Island five years ago, Russell has been proud to witness Christchurch’s resurgence. “Christchurch is like a phoenix risen from the ashes, with a tremendous opportunity to redefine itself.” And now he is playing his part in reimagining our city’s aged care offering.
Russell has built his team at The Bellevue with one goal in mind. “As the Care Manager I believe I have a principle responsibility to set the scene in providing an environment where staff can truly excel, feel empowered and make a positive difference to the lives of residents, families and each other.”
Another initiative Russell is proud of is that couples can stay together in the same room, even if their needs are not aligned. Russell has seen the impact it has on residents - “It is just wonderful to offer couples Care Suites which allow couples to stay together – just as they always have,” says Russell.
To find out more about our Care Suites, with Rest Home and Hospital level care, get in touch with Russell today.

I have managed to get it to the stage where it will come up to me. I have put on a paper collet to see if i can find owners but it is quickly removed by puss. I will take it to vets to see if it has a microchip. Just wanted to check if anyone recognises it. We are in Redcliffs.

We have all the toys, adventures and love needed, waiting for our new family member.
If not already desexed we will do it as soon as she is of age/size. She will be regularly vaccinated and wormed, just like her cat siblings to be are.
I am looking at rescues also as our current fur family are from rescues.
Thanks.

The email directs the recipient to renew the funds through clicking a 'Renew Now' button at the bottom corner of the email. It then takes the individual to fake website that gets them to fill in personal details.
CERT NZ, the government authority responsible for cyber security said in a tweet, that anyone who receives this email should report it directly to Waka Kotahi (NZTA).
How to spot a phishing scam:
- NZTA will only send an email through if an individual has contacted them first.
- Email addresses will always end in @nzta.govt.nz, @enews.nzta.govt.nz or @reply.nzta.govt.nz.
- The email may be missing specific details that the NZTA will have on file: such as your plate number, the date your vehicle license is due and vehicle make and model.
- Hover over buttons and links to see if the pop-up will take you to a genuine government (.govt.nz) website

An 81-year-old volunteer has a message for the thief who snatched her car while she was out delivering hot lunches to the elderly and disabled – it could be your loved one left starving.
Widow Myra Brown, who donates to her time to the Meals of Wheels service, was dropping off food to a disabled woman in Woolston in Christchurch about 11am on Monday.
The service delivers meals to people who struggle to cook themselves, with volunteer drivers organised by the Red Cross.
When she returned minutes later, her white 2007 Suzuki Crossover was gone.
