Hi good neighbours.
I really don’t like to moan, but there seems to be excessive dog poop on Kidson Terrace and my wife and I are getting very frustrated with it. We walk our dog every day along the paths and have to consistently dodge the poop. Most of it looks as though it comes from a medium to large dog. PLEASE PLEASE if you own a dog make sure you clean up after them.
Cashmere primary children walk theses paths and I’m sure their parents don’t want dirty smelly shoes in their houses.
Many thanks, Ian.

Hello CHCH my name is Janeen and I am the new regional coordinator for Can Inspire and would really like your help to keep our Christchurch workshops up & running.
CanInspire is a not-for-profit registered charity based in Ashburton, NZ. With regional areas run by Coordinators in Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. We work alongside other charities and not for profit organisations providing jewellery making workshops and materials to individuals experiencing illness, trauma or personal loss. These take place in a variety of places in and around the central city, and suburbs.
We welcome any offers of assistance or donations related to our work, in particular donations of beads or other jewellery which could be used during our workshops & to stock our CanBead Kits. We are also very interested in hearing from you if you would like to know more about becoming a volunteer at our workshop sessions, being part of the team that assemble the bead kits, or our bag making team.
Please note, all volunteers who assist in our jewellery making workshops are required to have a police check prior to beginning. For more information, please PM me. I look forward to hearing from you. For more information:

Thanks
Janeen.

Car Parking Skills

Gerald from Hoon Hay

We wonder who the honest driver was who backed into our new Suzuki Splash at Avonhead Mall Friday 22nd early afternoon? A note on the windscreen and assistance with our insurance excess would assist this pensioner and help us forgive your inability to drive well!!

It was made from a pair of jeans from an op shop. "All of my gardening clothes come from op shops," she says. "Large men's shirts make good cover-ups to keep sun and insects off my arms. For the apron, start with a smaller size than you would wear so it doesn't wrap around too far. Check that it has a lot of pockets." So tell us if you've got similarly fashionable, exclusive-for-the-garden glad rags, and if yes, why not post a photo in the Reply space too!
