U3A is an organisation with strong membership growth, that could incorporate Steady as You Go groups into their activities. There is also enormous potential for community groups to engage in health education. This is very exciting, because so much has changed and most doctors, and the great majority of the public, are completely unaware of the new science, driving a revolution of new dietary ideas, and new exercise proposals. It could be a neighbour who donates time to a sports team in your neighbourhood or someone who brings your bins up the driveway every week. Maybe they’re just really unique; the neighbour who drives that bright pink car or skateboards with the kids to school each day.
Tell us why your neighbour is awesome and you could win one of four $250 Prezzy® cards (plus one for your Awesome Neighbour).
