Further investigations have found the building needs more extensive repairs than expected.
A mobile library will visit the car park on Wednesdays, from 10am to 11am, and Fridays, from 3pm to 4pm, until the facility reopens.

Plans to regenerate the 600-hectare Avon River red zone released on Friday also ruled out the compulsory purchase of homes, allowing people who did not sell to the Government to remain there.
Now, those who refused to move out of Brooklands after it was shattered in the earthquakes (like Stephen Bourke, pictured) want the same assurances – and believe the promise to those in the river corridor could set a precedent.
