Christchurch’s 30,000-seat stadium, Te Kaha, has blown its budget by at least another $50 million, Stuff understands.

City councillors will soon have to decide whether they either increase the $533m budget once again, head back to the drawing board or pause the project.

Council staff are refusing to comment on the spiralling costs, saying more information will be available in the coming weeks.

But the council has advised the Treasury of issues with the budget, a spokesperson for the Government department said. Read more here.

We asked, listened, and collaborated directly with farmers in the making of this gear. We tested and re-tested in on-farm environments. We re-engineered what farming workwear can be with your needs front of mind.

We brought our decades of experience creating world-class performance gear. Add to that a legacy of Kiwi innovation, a challenger spirit and a practical attitude that’s been part of Line 7 since we started back in 1963.

Every detail has been reviewed and refined – without overlooking the obvious. Breathable, flexible, functional and comfortable, while still being supremely durable and waterproof. Made to fit farmers of all shapes and sizes, with a dedicated range for women. Built to last, and last a bit longer still, with an included repair kit that means you can fix it up quickly yourself.

Now take it out there, try it on and put it to the test. Wear it out and wear it again. We’re pretty damn confident you won’t be disappointed

One of the boys went outside once I got the dog inside, the lady was still there and approached the gate again and changed her story to she broke up with her boyfriend and she needs help after being told repeatedly to leave we offered to call police to help her she just stood there staring then walked down our drive way looking in the cars etc just be careful guys!

I thought I'd jump on and quickly share one of the creative jobs I did recently.

I really love jobs that present a challenge - an opportunity to to think outside the box and work with my clients on custom solutions to meet their needs.

Here's a custom bunny fence I made - loads of fun to put together, and stoked with the result!

If you've got a job (or several) you need a hand with, please send me a message or give me a call on 027 408 6199 - there's not a lot I can't do!

Farming gear

Linda from Northwood

I have a big table top set up to clean fibre (alpacas) and wool.
No longer on the farm! It works well, but doesn’t have legs, would need trestles.
Hope someone could make use of this!

Price: $20

Oodie for sale

Linda from Northwood

Unfortunately I am not big enough for this gorgeous Oodie!
It looks great, feels so warm but I find it overwhelming as I am only short!
It is blue with grey/white koalas on it. It’s only been worn twice, so very warm.
Like new but priced as second hand!

Price: $60
