Here's your chance to tell Regenerate Christchurch what you want to happen!

RC has released its draft outline, which is basically a document saying how it's planning to work over the next year in deciding what happens to the red zone. It's asked for feedback, and it's really, really important that it gets it! This will determine what chances you get to have your say over the next year.

RC didn't have to ask for feedback on this, but it has, so we should make sure we give it! Greening the Red Zone has made it easy for you. We've sent our submission in (the attached document) and we've created an easy submission form for you on our website.

If you agree with the points we make, HAVE YOUR SAY NOW! Our submission form is fully editable, so you can either use our suggested text (the very easy peasy option), edit it, or create your own.

Please make sure you submit. It's the future of the red zone we're talking about!

Hi Neighbours,

Are there any budding Music Conductors out there who would be interested in taking over the Risingholme Singers choir, founded in 1947. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our lovely Conductor, Khin Wee Chen, and now have to find a new Conductor by February 13th, or as soon as possible thereafter.
We have around 45 members in the choir, of all ages, and we are a friendly and happy bunch of people, like one big family, now without a “Father”! We need someone to look after us and put us in our place!
The choir has performed all kinds of music, which has included music from the 70’s era, i.e. Abba, Queen, Simon and Garfunkel, etc., Gilbert & Sullivan Mikado and Pirates of Penzance, music from movies, such as Fiddler on the Roof, and music from the Messiah.
We rehearse in the lounge at the Opawa Baptist Church on Monday evenings, during School Terms, from 7.30pm – 9.30pm.
An honorarium would be paid to the Conductor, for their services to the choir.
If you, or anyone you know, would be interested in taking on our choir, could you please contact our President, Jill Willmott, on (03) 388 3235 or at jwillmott@xtra.co.nz
