Hello neighbours.
I have just moved into the area and am looking for some new local dogs to walk and gardens to maintain.

Many people these days find themselves simply too busy to get their dogs out for the regular walks they require, or keep on top of those forever-growing gardens. This is where I can come along and help you out!

I am an experienced dog owner myself, and have also studied veterinary nursing, so you know your beloved pet will be in safe, responsible hands. Last year I worked my way around Europe helping out in gardens ranging from little private courtyards through to landscape designing a rural French wedding venue.

During my travels I spent 2 weeks living and working at an amazing dog boarding facility in Switzerland, walking the dogs and tending to their large section. The family who ran the facility have provided a reference letter I can share with you.

Price by negotiation depending on work required and hours. Call or message me for a chat to see if I am the right person for your pooch or garden needs :)

Cheers,
Emma

A total fire ban for Christchurch, the Port Hills and Banks Peninsula has been issued as the fire risk reaches similar levels to those before the Port Hills fires two years ago.

The ban, which prohibits any outdoor fires in the open air being lit, comes into force at midnight on Tuesday.

The Waimakariri, Selwyn and Hurunui districts remain in a restricted fire season which meant only permitted fires could be lit. If the scorching hot weather continues, those areas were also expected to be in a total fire ban by the end of next week.
