I am in my late 30's so you don't need to worry about me having parties in your home, I am house trained, I love animals and will abide by your house rules as fair as your pets are concerned. Currently I have my 10yr old every second week and would like to continue with this so hopefully that isn't a deal breaker for you. Under the draft Education Amendment Bill, decile 1-7 state and state-integrated schools can opt to receive a payment of $150 per student, per year if they agree not to ask parents or caregivers for donations.
But as of last week, with just over a month to go until boards of trustees need to register, only 471 out of 1749 schools had told the Ministry of Education that they intend to sign up to the initiative.
In Canterbury, Shirley Boys' High School has rejected the discretionary grants, with headmaster John Laurenson saying its co-curriculum programme "would have to cease" if it took up the Government's offer.

If your voting papers HAVEN’T arrived, we can issue special voting papers at the below locations during the week. It only takes a couple of minutes and they can be completed on site.
- Akaroa Service Centre, 78 Rue Lavaud
- Beckenham Service Centre, 66 Colombo Street
- Christchurch City Council Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street (special voting papers will be available on Saturday from 9am-noon)
- Fendalton Service Centre, Corner Jeffreys and Clyde Roads
- Linwood Service Centre, Eastgate Mall, first floor, Corner Buckleys Road and Linwood Avenue
- Lyttelton Service Centre, 18 Canterbury Street (note Lyttelton hours are 10am to 6pm)

I took some people with disabilities to visit this place a couple of years ago when it was on Oxford Rd. Someone told me it is now in Sefton, somewhere, but I have been unable to find it. Does anybody have any info of its whereabouts please, as I would like to take them to it again
