At Citizens Advice Bureau we are so thankful for our wonderful volunteers, without whom we could not function.
Did you know we have more than 100 volunteers in CAB Christchurch area and only 1 paid staff member. Our volunteers are a diverse bunch, with different backgrounds, ethnicities, and languages but they all come together to help the community. They are there to help you at our 3 branches in New Brighton, Fendalton and Hornby or just a phone call away.

I want to make people aware of what is happening to our neighbours in the Greenpark huts as the mostly elderly and those with small incomes are being evicted from their homes and community with no place to go. Some have even put their life savings into their humble homes which they now have to not only leave but pay to have them removed as well. Shameful.
