Free Repairs - show some tlc to your favourite things
Our wonderful volunteers are back SAT 29th APRIL with their skills to help you repair your favourite broken things, keeping them out of landfill.
This is free event made possible with the help of some amazing local folks who offer their knowledge and skills. Sit alongside enjoying a cuppa while you learn about the art of repair
Saturday 29th April, 10am to 1pm. At Waiuku Zero Waste, 5 Hosking Place.
We can help repair:
* Bikes!!! We will have the emerging Waiuku Pedlars folks meeting here. Bring your bike for a quick service and come for a chat.
* Small electrical items - toasters, fans, lamps,
* Clothes mending - patch repairs, hemming, and other textile sewing
* Wooden furniture & toys- our workshop will be open for small item repairs such as a broken chair leg, kids toys that need a bit of tlc
* Quartz Clock repairs
* Tool sharpening - garden & hand tools
* Other general items - bring them along and we'll see if we can fix them!
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
