Goodies to give away after my garage clean-out
Hi Neighbours
I've just had a big clean out of the loft in my garage and here's a list of items looking for new homes! I don't want anything for them - just happy if someone can use any of them. I've got photos of most of them and happy to email to you if you wish. Or you can come by appointment to my home in Waiau Beach to view them.
Golf bag and clubs. Well used but I think there's a full set. I bought them second-hand. Would be good for a beginner.
Golf trundler. Hardly used.
Yard broom head. Brand new. 40 mm long. 14 mm bristles
Miniature ironing board. Seldom used. Excellent for a small flat or a student.
Upright wall storage rack for the garage - never used. 3 projecting hooks. (sorry, a bit hard to describe!)
A box of cassettes - popular music of the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. If you've got some way to capture the music onto modern equipment you might enjoy the trip down memory lane.
Some anchor chain
Tall black decorative stand - could use for tall flowers or umbrellas. Light-weight fabric. In excellent condition.
One round tray for a worm farm. Similar to the ones at www.bunnings.co.nz.... I bought it from WormsRUs when they were behind The General Store at Karaka. Could also be used to grow seedlings. It's 50 cm diameter.
Hoover power head vacuum cleaner. The main machine has been causing grief but a clever handyman might be able to get it going, or you might want the external diverter (quite new), the 4 brand new dust bags or the head or hose.
A selection of used garden pots
Some used Eastlight lever arch ring binders - still have some life in them.
Please call for any information, photos or to make an appointment to view (and have a cuppa and enjoy the view while you're here, if you've got the time!)

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?
