Most are new clothes (size 14 +/-) and other things like warm scarves etc for winter. Does anyone know of any organisation or people connected with them, that will actually gift these items to people in need now...not via the sallies or hospice or anything like that. I have plenty of other things to go there. I'm thinking maybe even children who can't afford clothes/shoes and sanitary products...that kind of organisation. Do any schools have something set up for students in need?

Just found small black cocker spaniel end of Pt Chev road by cafe. Around 10.10am this morning.
I passed onto two nice ladies who are currently having coffee at cafe with dog and are ringing council as I type to try find owner details as no tag on the dog.
So he’s safe and sound.

Auckland Transport suffered a 30 minute train suspension across the network due to a KiwiRail signalling fault yesterday. It was the second time in a week that trains were non-operational, network wide. Auckland Mayor Phil Goff said the delays were "not good enough". He asked KiwiRail if its infrastructure was fit for purpose. KiwiRail has promised an independent review into the recent signal faults.
