The junior golf programme at Redwood Park Golf Club , Swanson , is taken by trained PGA golf coaches , at 10am on a Sunday morning. The programme starts this Sunday 10th Feb. The programme operates for 8 weeks each school… View moreThe junior golf programme at Redwood Park Golf Club , Swanson , is taken by trained PGA golf coaches , at 10am on a Sunday morning. The programme starts this Sunday 10th Feb. Golf Clubs are not required and players may wear comfortable casual clothing. The programme operates for 8 weeks each school term and costs $120 per term. Participants may also attend a practice session with other children on Mondays at 4pm ( no extra cost) . Once they are assessed as being capable of playing on the course, juniors meet on Sunday at 12.30pm for some on course play.

How about joining me in a walking/running challenge? The idea is that you challenge yourself to walk(or run) 150km's for the whole month. You track your distance using any walking/running apps on your phone/fitbit or use google maps to workout how far you walk each day. Keep a record and try to reach a total of 150km's by the end of the month.
If I get enough interest, I will start a facebook group for the month of Feb (and possibly future months if I get enough interest) and create a community of fellow ladies wanting to get their bodies moving and feel happier and healthier along the way. The group will be motivation and support throughout the month and you can share your progress as we go along.
Any fitness level is acceptable! We all have to start from somewhere and it is totally at your own pace.

In New Zealand, we are very fortunate to have a healthcare system that entitles children to free dental care. Here at CMDental, we celebrate that fact and welcome young ones! We enjoy teaching children about their mouths when they visit us and encouraging children to keep great oral health routine to ensure that they will have minimal tooth decay in the future and to prevent gum disease from occurring.
Children Under 13:
Under the government policies, the first port of call for children under the age of 13 should always be a dental therapist. Children under the age of thirteen can only be seen by a private dental practice when it's considered an emergency, when in pain when an accident has occurred that may be cover by ACC or have been referred directly by a dental therapist. Unless any of the following conditions apply then the government does not fund for under 13 to see private dentists, this means that you may incur a small fee.
Children Over 13:
Children over the age of 13 are entitled to a free yearly dentist check-up exam with x-ray’s and any treatment that is a result of this is usually covered by government funding.
