Graeme Bergh is a keen motorcyclist and happens to be a NZ Police officer. He’s attended many serious motorcycle crashes and learned first-hand the factors that cause and contribute to them.

Sadly, in the majority of cases, there were things the rider could have done to prevent the crash, “and that breaks my heart”, says Graeme. His solution? “Do some training”. It just might save your life.

Two of their staff members, the parking warden and the phone operator, were extremely rude in their dealings with me.
On the 26th of April, I parked on 20 Sel Peacock Drive for 20 minutes to make an appointment nearby. What I didn't realise was that my car would be clamped and that I'd have to pay $200 for its release. What was far worse, however, was the treatment I received following this incident.
I approached the parking warden, who was sitting in his car, to clarify what was happening. He ignored me, told me to shut-up then rolled his window up in my face. I tried to call the number provided to complain about my treatment and I received more of the same. The phone operator hung the phone up on me!
Paying a $200 fine is something that I can get past. What I can't get past, however, is being treated rudely by a stranger for absolutely no good reason.
Please watch out, I would hate for anyone to be made to feel the way I did. Avoid parking there. Avoid going to those businesses at 20 Sel Peacock Drive, like the bakery, laundry, so that perhaps they reconsider their choice of parking enforcement company. it says free parking for 120 minutes, but this is just for theses business, DO NOT ever park in this car park and leave it to go somewhere else.
