My husband found this contractor Named Neil on one of the tradie website who claims to do small building work including decks and stuff. We paid him around 1200$ initially to buy the wood and other stuff. He then dumped wood , I am not even sure if it’s enough to built the deck. He disappeared for two weeks. then one day after texting and calling him numerous times sends a man to dig our backyard pretending that work is going to start soon. We paid extra 100 $ to that man who did the digging and cleaning the plants and stuff. It’s been more than a month, he disappeared completely. he hasn’t responding to our calls or txt or emails. Completely ruined our backyard . What should we do now? Any suggestion would be nice. I am attaching his business card so people can be aware how fraud and dishonest this person and his business is.
P.s - please recommend someone who can complete the job and is honest and reliable.

Many people are asking how they can help our Muslim neighbours to show solidarity after the horrendous events in Christchurch. One answer could be to train with us to volunteer to teach English to refugees in their homes. It is not just English - you may teach someone how to talk to their children's teachers, or how to catch a bus, or make an appointment. There is a huge need in West Auckland. Please check our website www.englishlanguage.org.nz... or call on 8277882.
