I have a lot of previous experience having refurbished many homes. I worked for a year for a commercial operator and found the quality of workmanship wanting so decided to go out on my own using my own contacts. I have been painting now for 5 years in the neighbourhood. My standard of preparation, the most important aspect of a good job, is excellent and have many references, some you can view under Tengate Paint. I do not do quotes as they require a contingency percentage. I prefer to give estimates of time instead. If I come across an unexpected problem, like rot which I can fix, I will discuss this with you on how to proceed. Hourly rate is $45. I have very good paint discounts which I pass on directly to clients. I am also happy to do small jobs. I look forward to discussing your job with you. Cheers John

We want March to be all about celebrating the connections we have while making new ones along the way. As we all know, what makes a neighbourhood great isn’t the houses and cars, gardens and streets - it’s the people who share their presence and aroha with each other.
A wonderful way to take part is to participate in Neighbours Day Aotearoa which takes place from 27 March - 5 April. This year’s theme is ‘Small Things Make a Big Difference’ - we couldn’t agree more!

Hello gardeners! We know there's more to your day than flowers and veges, and we're interested in your views on leisure, how you watch TV shows, movies and video content. This survey will take about 10 minutes of your time, and we would very much appreciate the feedback.

Hi Neighbours, If Auckland Transport, and maybe SkyCity had their way, the long-haul bus terminal would be re-located by this year. Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei had no idea that their land was wanted. Does the terminal need a new downtown home? Read the story below:
