Gone are the days of getting one qualification out of school to see you through your working life. Now, upskilling, online courses and on-the-job training are all part of making your way up the career ladder.

We want to talk to people who have completed micro-credentials, bitesize qualifications for specific skills.

Perhaps you've pieced together a full qualification by doing online courses, or maybe you've taken a workshop rather than investing in a six-month course. We'd love to hear from you - email josephine.franks@stuff.co.nz

Rawene Reserve, Birkenhead: You may notice that work is now underway to create an access track in the Rawne Reserve gully. This is to allow Watercare to make permanent repairs to a sewer pipe in the gully that was damaged in the Rawene Slip.
The access work will take one week, and the sewer work will take a further 6-8 weeks.
Please be aware that there will be construction activity in and around the bottom of the carpark. Access to and from the carparks will not be affected, but a few parking spaces in the lower new carpark may be unavailable at certain times during these works.
If you have any questions or feedback, please get in touch with the Rawene project team at: rawene@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz
