During the summer months you may have been a bit more flexible with your sleep schedule, because the sun would shine for longer, and you had more energy thanks to the warm weather. However, as the night’s start to draw in and the days get shorter, it’s a good idea to try to stay consistent with what time you go to bed and wake up each day.
A consistent sleep and wake time allows your body to fall into a sleep routine, and aids you to sleep more peacefully.

With support from Waimauku Lions, Kumeu Rotary, Allely Estate & Wine Time have come together to raise over $150,000 for the Muriwai Community Association by holding a charity lunch at Allely Estate this Sunday 26th March from 12pm to 4pm.
Proceeds from the auction plus ticket and drinks sales are earmarked for the Muriwai Community Recovery Charitable Trust.

For ecological restoration of a forest edge or mini-wilderness area, make sure you identify ALL your plants, big and small, wanted and unwanted, including the new ones that have appeared over summer.
Then, consider what will be the likely result from reducing or removing each of the weeds. Which ones first? How much to remove at once? What will replace them, and how quickly?
We can never be sure what Nature will do, but care and experience make the difference between producing an endless cycle of "tidy-ups" in unwelcoming conditions, and producing a haven of unique and unexpected beauty and birdsong, resilient to wind, rain and sun, and resistant to weed invasion.
