Hi neighbours, Ōtuataua Stonefields, which neighbours the disputed land at Ihumātao, has been granted Category 1 heritage status by Heritage New Zealand.
Are you happy with the heritage status?

I am rural every drop of water is Precious. My showers, baths, dishes, washing machine water is saved daily to feed my garden, very large garden. We are proud of how we save water yet those who are urban are still washing their car, windows, waterings the gardens. The one that angers me the most is the construction site. You drive past to see it running down the drain. Then there is the issue that they have removed ALL of the trees. HELLO WORLD what attracts rain. TREES ! Every single house hold needs to plant a tree for every person in that household, hopefully we will see some rain. Oh water that tree from your shower water you saved not from your hose. Good luck Auckland you are the only ones who can change this situation for the better.

This super-charged company of Colombian artists is changing the face of circus worldwide garnering five-star reviews and bringing audiences to their feet to cheer. With a mix of Latin fire, heart-stopping energy and high-risk adrenaline-fuelled acrobatics, their new show Acéléré is no ordinary circus – it’s simply extraordinary.
Delivered with the rawness and attitude of South American street life, Acéléré turns the spotlight on 14 incredible performers and their endless feats of strength, balance, tumbling and insane pinpoint accuracy, and accompanied by a vibrant mixtape of Latin hip-hop and electro cumbia performed live.
Rebellious, dynamic and wildly entertaining, Acéléré is “the circus performance that shows others how it’s done. Go.” (The Scotsman).
Four shows only at Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre, Aotea Centre from March 26-29. Find out more and book tickets
