In these trying and testing ('scuse the pun) times, we are all on edge, all getting down to our last nerve with patience for ... well, we all have our thresholds for each and every opinion out there.
I personally have been going through something horrible, like so many others out there.
My responses here may not have been well thought out and to those who I annoyed, please accept my sincere apologies.
This post however, is just me reaching out to thank every single person involved on the front line of this dreadful virus.
That includes the testers, the security people, the Police, the whole medical front line workers.
To those working furiously behind the scenes to get the test results out in a fast but efficient manner, thank you as well.
To the wonderful people who are manning the phones within the MOH call centres, calling people, following up with advice or a shoulder to cry on or even having a huge laugh with, bless your hearts.
To you all, your work is outstanding - keep up the excellent work.
Let's NOT lose sight of those people who are working furiously to try and keep us all healthy at the possible expense of their own health.
Please, be sensible and keep to the rules that are set down.
They are set down to keep you and everyone you love safe and well.
Buy doing this, we will in turn make all of those hard working frontline and essential workers daily routines and lives, so much easier.

My name is Ripu, I'm Stuff’s newly appointed Neighbourly reporter for Auckland and Northland. I've worked in Stuff's Auckland newsroom for a year and a half now, and previously covered current affairs and politics.
Neighbourly is growing as a popular tool to access local news and keep in touch with those around us, which we often miss with national media outlets. I'm here to bring you the news closest to you in a role which will work similarly to a community newspaper reporter.
If you have any stories or interesting things happening in your suburb or area, please get in touch!
If you see news posted in your area, please get involved and reply with your comments/thoughts on the issues at hand.
Thanks in advance and I look forward to chatting with you all.

A missing cat has been found in central Auckland despite her owners living 1641km away.
Tabby cat Smokey went missing six months ago, devastating her owner Ainsley Ormsby, who later moved to Invercargill after losing her job due to Covid-19.
But the new residents of the Avondale home called the SPCA after noticing a cat hanging about.
The car was identified as Smokey through a microchip.
Ormsby said she was excited when she heard the news her cat was safe.
“The family is very pleased that Smokey’s been found and to know that she’s not even injured is fantastic,“ she said.
“We presumed she’d been hit by a car and died.”
Smokey will now make the 1641km journey to Invercargill via a pet bus service.
SPCA will drop her off at the service on Friday, and she is expected to reach Invercargill by Monday,
An SPCA spokesperson said very often cats are brought in and are never reunited with their owners.
“It’s amazing to have one that we can actually get back to where it belongs and not have to rehome it,” she said.
