Community Constable Don Allan's newsletter
Hey Neighbours,
Here's Don's March newsletter... There's a lot of valuable information for you and he comments on the crime stats for February along with the steps to put in place to reduce being burgled again after a burglary as the burglars are now familiar with your layout of what security you have in place. They also know you are likely to replace the previously stolen items !! See page 17 of this newsletter to assist you.
Don gives us this information to inform & help us with our community safety. The local crime prevention Policing team place "prevention" at the forefront of what they do.. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?
