We'd be keen to hear about your discoveries on your recent travels around New Zealand. Were there any small towns, activities or attractions that surprised you, for better or for worse? Did you come across any lesser-know spots you think more Kiwis should check out? Which small towns do you think deserve more visitors than they get? Please remember your comment may be included in an article unless you state that you don't want it to be. Cheers.

Bowel cancer can strike at any age. Each year about 3,000 New Zealanders are diagnosed with the disease and more than 1,200 will die. That’s as many as breast and prostate cancer combined. But it is treatable – and beatable – if detected early enough. Check your symptoms

Hi neighbours,
Disability advocates welcome new accessible development which could pave the way for further housing projects.
Do you think there is enough housing for people with access needs?

3 hours of their Saturday morning was donated back to the community - this adds up to a total of 360 free community service hours!
Together we swept & picked up litter, washed windows, painted benches, trimmed hedges, planted a tree & many plants in bare spots and collected 6 x 240L (=1440L) wheelie bins full of loose litter and approximately 600kg of waste in black bags, which was very efficiently disposed of by the Civic contractors & Citycare Property team.
We would like to acknowledge each and every one of the wonderful volunteers who participated as well as the many volunteers groups. We had representatives from Clendon Business Association Ambassador Team, Citycare Property & Civic Contractors Team, The Pride Project Team, Manurewa Bluelight BBQ & Bluelight JAM Crew Chefs, Kainga Ora Team, Downer Team, Raise-up Youth Crew, What Hope Team, 180 Youth Project – Crossroad Ministries Team, Student Volunteer Army, AIGA Energy Team and the Manurewa Youth Council Team. It was just amazing to be part of such generous collaboration!
We are still buzzing - thank you Clendon!
