So these school holidays, my kids are having this debate on which is better, Marmite or Vegemite?? They were also curious to know how New Zealanders felt about it, so I thought this will be a great place to start. It's not the NZ brand, could from America, not sure. You could buy like the peanut butter and jelly stripe spread, the chocolate and peanut butter spread and others at the supermarkets some years back. Not sure if they are still produced here in NZ? Does anyone on Neighbourly know of any snacks or food that they had when they were young back in the days would anyone like to share?

A new law in Wales says schools are required to have gender-neutral uniforms.
This means that while uniforms can include both skirts and pants, schools can't label these as "girls" or "boys" items.
Should NZ follow suit?

An update from Novopay announced staff have to wait another month before their hard-fought backdated pay increase kicks in. New Zealand Educational Institute (NZEI) spokesperson Paul Goulter told members feel defeated. "This is just another blow in an already elongated dispute, to have the Ministry turn around at late notice and just say 'you're gonna have to wait' has just destroyed any trust that has been built up." Minister Chris Hipkins said on Twitter it's not good enough, and he will be following up. "A couple of teachers have sent messages asking why it takes so long to get their pay rises. It's the first time anyone has told me it could take this long and I'm not happy about it. "I'll be following up first thing [Wednesday] morning. It's just not good enough."
