Just to let you all know, I have posted this yesterday under the sub category ' Covid-19 Reach Out'.
However, I really want to get this message out to you all and for you to pass it onto all the people you know - please.

Well the husband and I had dilly-dallied around enough and finally bit the bullet and got our own personal QR code poster to put on our front window for anyone who stops by to scan in.

With the high number of people on the move at the moment, with couriers, contactless pick ups or even visiting family, I personally believe that it's important to have one at your own home.

This code isn't just for businesses, it's for you and I and our neighbours, for everyone.

In the end, surely it would make it so much easier if we all had one on our window or front door, that way tracing could be speed up.

Go on, click the link, create your own QR code poster - it's FREE!!!

Majority from procession for gang tangi 'behaved within road rules'

The lead photo indicates that the headline is INACURATE!!

Since when is sitting on the window ledge of the cars while travelling down the motorway allowed?
While you are thinking about that, are a large volume of people allowed to travel in the open back of the ute? NO!!!

Also, at least 200 people gathered on the street (dozens wearing Mongrel Mob insignia) - all breaking the current Covid restrictions for gatherings and funerals.

I'm so angry that so many of us out here are really doing our best to adhere to the rules both in real life (on the road) and also in our 'Covid life'.

So how is it that these gangs are running wild and doing what they want, when they want and to who they want to?
Maybe we should all get patched up to have more freedom - yes, I'm being sarcastic, but I'm so angry and so disappointed in the powers that be for continually allowing this.

Basils all planted out now!!!!!!!! 😃 Bought four of 'em from Countdown when I went to do my grocery shopping just before. 😃

Sharon from Te Atatu South

Nothing else was growing in that garden except a pumpkin, a rhubarb and some small silverbeets - the beans certainly haven't come up. Will wait til it gets later in the evening before I water them - that sun out there is pretty hot now. 😃 Fourth photo - the pumpkin which is still a seedling… View moreNothing else was growing in that garden except a pumpkin, a rhubarb and some small silverbeets - the beans certainly haven't come up. Will wait til it gets later in the evening before I water them - that sun out there is pretty hot now. 😃 Fourth photo - the pumpkin which is still a seedling growing in the same garden, but the biggest pumpkin seedling I have. =D It SHOULD grow into a good sized plant I am thinking/hoping, AND MAYBE grow me some Queensland Blue pumpkins!!!!!!!! =D Like the one I still have on my kitchen bench, in the second to last photo. =D ALSO, since we're talking about herbs, I couldn't help but add that I look all minty fresh today, in my green pants and my minty green top and my minty green scarf my aunt gave me as part of my birthday bouquet!!!!!!!! 😃 Last photo. 😃

Tony Lawson, 85, received the photograph from his friend Don Armitage, whose father Jack is pictured in the photograph.

“The photo came to me in a very poor condition,” he said.

“However, my youngest daughter's close friend who is a graphic artist has done a few hours work on this and has come up with an amazing improvement.”

Lawson started working for the Auckland Star in 1964.

“In those days it was hot metal, as they called it, a line of type writers going like the clappers,” he said.

“The noise was something, it’s a wonder we’re all not stone bloody deaf. It was 1976 they were all gearing up to go into the computers.”

He estimates the photograph was taken in the 1960s.
