Auckland drought: Can you shower in 4 minutes?

Mikaela Wilkes Reporter from Homed

The Government wants Aucklanders to save 20L of water a day. But what does that mean at your house?

Buying efficient appliances and fixing one-off leaks can make huge water savings, but so can small changes to daily habits. If every Aucklander showered in four minutes, we'd save 80 million litres of water a day.

Check out the full list of ways to cut down your water use here.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
