I had items of clothing stolen from my clothesline between 1pm yesterday and 8am this morning. How I initially realised, was that when I went out this morning to grab the washing in before it rained, a group of six pegs was placed on the ground, rather than in the peg basket on the line. They were very specific - they didn’t take everything, just my favourite jeans (which are irreplaceable), and a bright pink adidas singlet and workout tights. That’s it. Either I disturbed them without realising, or they were just after those (seems strange).
My property is very well hidden and you have to go through a gate and go around to the back of the house to the line.
I have reported to the police.
Has anybody else had this happen?
Thanks
Jodie, Sunnyhills resident
