The suspensions came as bus drivers stopped accepting passenger fares, in a bid for better pay work hours. On Thursday, First Union and Tramways withdrew industrial action after Auckland Council got involved with concerns of the suspension's impact on the city's public transport. However, union members and NZ Bus are yet to come to an agreement.

Would you like your 8 - 15 year old to participate in a locally based horse riding programme? Ambury Park Centre based in Mangere Bridge is offering a three day horse programme that includes riding, horse management & horsemanship. The course gives children a taste of what it is like to own their own horse & the opportunity to have fun with other like-minded children. Introduce your child to horse riding with experienced equine instructors through fun & learning. Open to all, from total beginners to more experienced riders.
Book for one, two or all three days. Helmets are provided. No experience necessary. $95 per rider per day.

Howdy Neighbours :-)
My tween daughter and I (Single mum) would like to invite an elderly person or 5 into our home to share a meal together. (LOL So far we have 10 of us attending).
We are well aware that there are many out there who spend this Special day alone. This year, you don't need to.
Last year, on Christmas Day, we invited our Neighbours over, and ended up with 15 of us here. It was a wonderful time.
This year, our family are having an early, and a late, get together.
In the past, we have volunteered at the City Mission Dinners.
This year, it's all about YOU!! Our elders ❤️
If you are an elder, or you know of an elderly person or couple, who will be spending their Christmas Day alone this year, please get in contact with us for a chat. We would love to hear from you.
Come to our home. Share in some joy and have a few laughs over a meal and bubbles (Sparkling Grape Juice/Lemonade).
It is good for my daughter to see these things happen, and for her to take part.
