We welcome everyone with their little one/s to visit us from 9.30am for music and play. Michele from Uplands Kindergarten will be hosting you with music at 10am. Gold coin donation. Please bring morning tea for your child. Plenty of parking around the back of the church and a quick visit to the Op Shop at Somervell Church is always a treat before or after playgroup!
Playgroup is not open during the school holidays, so this will be our last playgroup this term. We reopen on Thursday 12 October.

Held from the 11th-17th September, Māori Language week gives us a chance to celebrate our beautiful national language. Maybe you'll be celebrating by watching the Toku Reo videos and using Te Aka (Maōri Dictionary) to improve your knowledge, or maybe you've found a buddy for the week that will only kōrero in te reo with you. Ka pai!

As well as learning a wide repertoire of secular and sacred songs, the boys enjoy two annual camps, regular national and international tours and many performance opportunities across Auckland.
Rehearsals: Mondays 4.30 – 6.30pm, St Georges Church Hall, Epsom

This exciting project, which we've developed in partnership with Ngāti Whātua Ōrakei, celebrates tangata whenua and is designed to encourage kōrero about the state of the environment and the cultural richness of Te Waitematā.
Artists: Senior Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei ringatoi, Graham Tipene, Hana Maihi, Jodi-Ann Warbrick, Leah Warbrick, Joanne Maihi and Kororia Witika.
To welcome our new families to Uplands, we enjoyed afternoon tea on Monday. We invited everyone to come along including families who have recently left for school. It was (another) wet day so we couldn't enjoy the playground - hopefully we will be able to do this next time.
