A great way to entice new followers and get your business in front of new eyes is to:
Tag other brands in your posts – for example, if you’re posting a picture of your work, you could tag the companies you bought the materials from. Then, they might share your post too!
Use relevant hashtags to get your business in front of others searching for those hashtags or similar ones. For example, if you share a before and after photo of a bathroom transformation you’ve worked on, tag #bathroominspo. If you need help finding relevant hashtags, you can use display purposes or another free hashtag-sourcing tool.

Use geotargeting and add your location so others can see your work areas and find your posts more easily.

Create engaging posts. Some social media platforms have features that allow your followers to engage with you quickly. Instagram Stories has many options for interactive stickers, such as polls, ask a question and quiz features, for example.

Put links to your social media profiles onto your business card, email signature, posters, van branding, and other social media profiles.

Ask your customers to share photos of your work on their social media profiles and tag you.

Downsize to a Richer, Happier Life

Bruce McLaren Retirement Village

What do you want to do with your life? Would you like to travel, downsize, have more money and more free time? Do you ever feel like your stuff holds you back, but the thought of decluttering just seems too hard? If so, you’re not alone.

What do you want to do with your life? Would you like to travel, downsize, have more money and more free time? Do you ever feel like your stuff holds you back, but the thought of decluttering just seems too hard? If so, you’re not alone.

This is the first of a series of articles dedicated to helping you to downsize, declutter and rightsize your life, brought to you by Ryman Healthcare in conjunction with decluttering expert Peter Walsh.

When helping people to declutter, Peter never starts by focusing on the stuff itself. Every item in your home has a story, so the first step is to think about what that story is.

Maybe you’re thinking about downsizing as you approach retirement but still have all the artwork and toys and books that belonged to your now adult children, and don’t know what to do with them. Perhaps letting go of that old sports equipment means letting go of a vision you had of yourself that no longer fits who you are. Maybe you’re holding onto heirlooms you have no use for because you want to keep the memory of the person alive.

No matter what your situation is, it’s easier to declutter and downsize if you start by identifying the feelings that underlie your attachment to your stuff before tackling the stuff itself.

Two cute reasons why I would like you to support 9 Lives Orphanage NZ with your vote.

All the others have homes or were fostered. Many others offered their help making this possible, with 9 Lives Orphanage NZ providing wonderful support which allowed for the neutering of the kittens at minimal cost which was required for them to be fostered. I am appealing to you to support this charity in order to give them a chance to share $500,000. Let's make a difference together by voting for them at mygivingcircle.org...
It costs you nothing and votes count double this weekend, so be quick! I would love to give something back to the unsung heroes.

Mito (he is the guy on the left with the panda eyes) and Ergo (she is the cat supermodel on the right) got dealt a difficult hand at the start, but thanks to Laurence they got food in their bellies and have become beautifully socialized, high energy delights. They have gone from being wild terrified balls of fluff hiding behind the fridge to being ultimate lap cats who will sleep on you if they get the chance. They are entertainment machines as they chase each other around and make a toy out of every scrap of cardboard, milk bottle top or anything else small that moves. They are great mates each with their own very different personality. But none of this just happened, it had to be made to happen. These beautiful guys could so easily have been just another sad statistic. Like so many others are. So for the sake of all the others who have no choice in their circumstances, please support 9 Lives Orphanage NZ and other charities of your choice. Please vote. Thank you.
