I would like to make some animal cage covers for needy animals at the SPCA shelter. Cages recommended measure 40 x 70 x 40, so If someone has some material off cuts that they can spare, I would like to have it please.

A simple upgrade of replacing its hard drive could save you a lot of money and bring the computer's speed up to where it was or even better with a solid state hard drive. If compatible which most are my promise is then to have everything exactly as you had it. From bookmarks, installed programs to all of your emails and contacts will be there afterwards, right down to the desktop background and windows settings it will be exactly the same all just on a much better and faster hard drive.
These new hard drives are much more reliable and shock resistant than the older type of hard drive. They can take knocks that would instantly destroy the older type even while copying files. The other danger with your old hard drive is that it is slowly wearing itself out. leaving your data at risk. One of the first signs of an aging hard drive before it goes completely and costing a lot of money to get the data back (can be over $1000 for this type of specialty recovery service)

Northwesterly winds have blown a hazy plume of smoke across the Tasman Sea, and while it has mostly affected the South Island in recent weeks, it has moved up the country.
The "robust plume" is expected to head to the South Island late on Saturday.
The haze has been causing a yellowish-orange, hue at sunset, making for some sweet sunset photos. Share your photos in the comments!

The Counties Power Christmas Lights – Trains @ Night event will see the charitable organisation's trains, station and buildings dressed in Christmas lights, a special Christmas Express train service, visits from Santa, a Christmas market and much more.
The Counties Power Christmas Lights - Trains @ Night will run from 12-15 and 19-23 December in the lead up to Christmas from 7pm till 11pm.
The first train is at 7pm, and will leave approximately every half hour to the workshops and return until 11pm.
There will be a Santa's grotto, night markets, train rides, entertainment and lots more.
