We’re researching stories for our Tāmaki Herenga Waka: Stories of Auckland exhibition opening next year and want to hear from anyone with early memories of the Auckland Harbour Bridge and how it changed life for Aucklanders, especially on the North Shore.

You can find extension pieces online but this one measures: 114cm wide (but adjustable screws help it to fit snugly within a standard door frame.
Height is 73cm.
It has a safety clip you can open one-handed and the gate opens in either direction. Shuts automatically behind you.
The bars won’t allow heads to get stuck (unless pets are very small).
Buyer must collect from Mangere.
Thank you.

The weather is noticeably cooler, the nights are drawing in and power bills are slowly increasing.
We have put together a list of tips on how you can keep your home warm and cosy without breaking the bank.

Various heaters large, small, medium. Fan and oil fin. Make a sensible offer and it could be yours.
Not all heaters in picture, will try for another couple of pics later.

I dropped off some books about midday today and was concerned to see that the drop-off point was not at all well protected from the weather.
There was also a sign which stated what sort of books NOT wanted, but this was too late to be taken into consideration.
The organisers need to put more information on their website so that people donating know in advance. I am sad to think that some of my quite valuable books may be damaged before the book fair even happens.
