Hi Neighbours, If buses are running near empty, maybe the traditional way of providing public transport needs a rethink. Read the story below on the empty buses of Hobsonville Point. What's the answer ?

The dual-crane operation will take a painstaking nine hours from 7.30 pm Wednesday night to return the majestic tree from Teal Park to its original home.
The 40-year-old pohutukawa will take pride of place in the city's new Te Wananga waterfront space about midnight, weather permitting.
Reuniting the city centre with the sea, Te Wānanga will open for Aucklanders in June.
Mayor Phil Goff said he was pleased to see the first tree returning to bring shade and much-needed greenery to Auckland's CBD.
Studies showed trees had a positive effect on the community's health and well-being, he said.
The pohutukawa were moved to Teal Park a year ago and tended by Auckland Council arborists.

The three-course menu includes a fish dish, involving the filleting of a fish, freshly made ribbon pasta and dessert - all with a Mediterranean theme. Take a look at this week's impressive efforts enjoyed by the Advanced students. They then serve the meal for their own guest and also get to sit down and eat with them.
Here are some photos of the creative dishes prepared for the Mediterranean Luncheon.

Construction has started on the bike path which winds its way through the inner city's Viaduct area, connecting the Nelson St and Quay St cycle ways.
More loading zones, pedestrian crossing points and a one-way system will also form part of the trial which encompasses Market Place, part of Customs St West and lower Hobson St.
The bike path will open in stages and is expected to be fully open by the middle of May.
It is among more than 20 designs planned for Auckland through Project WAVE, funded by Waka Kotahi NZTA's Innovating Streets for People pilot fund, to boost people-friendly spaces.
Waitemata Local Board chairman Richard Northey said Project WAVE would provide a key missing link for people on bikes.
"It will now be possible for people on bikes and scooters to get from Karangahape Rd and the Northwestern Cycleway directly, all the way down to Quay St, the Viaduct and Britomart on a protected cycleway," he said.
"That is a huge positive and will encourage more people to jump on a bike, knowing their journey will be a safe one."
Auckland Transport will monitor the project during the trial and call for community feedback.

About 4.45am on Sunday morning, my car was broken into parked at the church on symonds street, Royal oak by the big Royal oak round about.
The priest of thee church woke to their house being burgled around the same time.
My handbag and laptop hidden under the shopping bags - which I normally would leave in of course - were stolen.
The laptop bag is very distinctive with a black back and strap and a NZ art design. The laptop is a silver HP.
Inside my handbag which is grey, was a few things including a sentimental ring from Tahiti with two pearls coming together. This would not. Normally be seen in NZ.
There was also a card holder wallet with credit cards, license etc.
They walked down symonds street towards Royal oak intermediate as many items from my bag were scattered along the footpath.
Any help would be amazing even security footage along this road.
A police report has been done.
Thank you all.
Mary
