Its showing its age but is in relatively good condition, but having raised a family its got a bit of wear and tear. It came with a ‘3M’ hydrophobic water shield coating. Which has helped the longevity of the piece. The pull out bed mechanism is still fully functional and runs smoothly. The fabric is what you would expect for a sofa of this age. Its a little worn from use. It has a few little rips from getting caught on things and just general wear - tried to get all of these in the photos. As it folds out there is a little staining on the light coloured ‘dunlop’ fabric from spills between the cushions over the years. But not too bad all in all. The main fault is one broken plastic ‘flatcap’ that holds one of the timber slats (they can be picked up online). It never really cause us too much of a problem so we left it.

Dimensions.
The sofa is:
196 cm wide - measured from the outside of the arms
81 cm deep - from back to the front of the arm. Seating cushions protrude a little beyond this.
63cm from the ground to the top of the armrests

The bed it is:
156cm wide
205cm long

If you want any more specific dimension just ask in the questions. It is HEAVY, its a solid bed pick up is from Avondale, Auckland.

Everyone deserves a warm, dry, healthy home – see if you’re eligible for financial support to insulate and heat yours.

Warmer Kiwi Homes is a government grant that offers 80% - 90% of the cost of ceiling and underfloor insulation, and up to 80% off an energy-efficient heater, like a heat pump. In August, the eligibility criteria were extended so over 50,000 more households are eligible for insulation grants.

And you may get it even cheaper than that - lots of community organisations offer extra funding to reduce the cost further.

Check your eligibility, or check for your whānau.

Keep an eye out and report these wandering dogs

I'm unsure if they belong to anyone, if they've been abandoned, or are fully strays. I've reported them to Animal Control both on the 15th and 18th, but they've disappeared down a drive (possibly into bushes or some other hiding place that can't be seen from the road) before I was able to take photos and before AC arrived.

Description:
Adult - unsure of sex. Medium/Large, with reddish brown fur and a white throat. Slightly blocky head, may be a bully breed mix, but it's hard to tell from a distance. Ribs are clearly visible, even from across the street. Definitely hungry, if not malnourished. Last seen sniffing around the wheelie bins around 88 & 90 Titirangi Road, then disappearing down 90 Titirangi's driveway.

Puppy - unsure of age or sex. Light, dusty brown and white. Definitely underfed. Not at all chubby, like a puppy should be, its ribs are starkly visible from across the road. Interested in humans, so likely has spent at least a little time around them. Very nearly tried to cross the road to investigate me when I made eye contact (thank goodness it didn't!) Clearly related to the adult dog.

Neither have a collar on. I'm unsure of whether they're friendly or aggressive so please don't approach them.

If spotted, please contact Animal Control and reference 8101334178. If possible, try to stay nearby until AC arrives to help direct them and/or take photos to send to Animal Control for better identification. There may be other puppies wherever their hiding place is, so if you spot any others that don't match the description above please make sure AC knows about them, too.

These dogs need help and if/when caught by AC will likely be turned over to the SPCA.
