Kowhai Intermediate School Centenary 2022
Over Labour Weekend, 21-23 October 2022, Kowhai Intermediate School will be the first intermediate school in New Zealand to celebrate its Centenary. If you are interested in attending the celebrations you can register your interest using the link below. Alternatively you can telephone Judith Armstrong on 09 846 7534 x 211. We would love to see as many past pupils, staff and Board of Trustee members there as possible.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
