For those people who dined at Parnell 149 and enjoyed the dining experience you may not be aware that Brian and Errol are now at Red Earth Bistro and Wine Bar in Papakura serving lunch and dinner Wednesday to Sunday.

Cassette player wanted

Cam from St Heliers

Recently unearthed a box packed with cassette tapes from college and uni days. Teen son wants to have a listen to this "vintage" collection, even though most of the music can be downloaded online. Anyone have a walkman or cassette radio gathering dust they can part with? Thanks!

Housing NZ (to use their correct name) are proposing to demolish 6 housing "units" (3 buildings) and replace them with a inappropriately sized 7-storey tower block totalling 49 units

This will be a trojan horse for an eventual 3 blocks totalling 140 units.

This has been non-notified - apart from the school

The school will shortly commence a fundraising drive to procure expert advice.

The whole development will be 100% HNZ tenants which is acknowledged as poor practice - a 1:1:1 mix of HNZ, 3rd rental and private ownership is considered best practice for community cohesion.

Please show your support for the school to stop this ghastly development
