Downstairs studio with own entrance in a cul de sac house in Glendowie.
Your own kitchenette/laundry room - sink & built-in cupboards.
In the kitchenette/laundry room, a microwave, a kettle, a portable induction cooktop, a washing machine and a fridge are provided.

Own use separated toilet and bathroom right outside the room.
Furnishings include a double bed, wardrobe and shelves, desk and chair, desk lamp and a vacuum cleaner.
Our bedrooms are upstairs, but our living room, kitchen and garage are downstairs. We just put acoustic insulation between your area and the main house, however, you will still hear us if we are cooking or in our living room. We go to bed around 10 pm on weekdays, and 11 pm on weekends.
The flatmates are two professionals in their 30s. We work 8am – 5/6pm and prefer to find a flatmate who has similar routines.

We are looking for a trustworthy working down to earth person (sorry, no couples due to the size of the space).
Nice neighbourhood and close to the main bus routes to the city, Glen Innes train station, St Heliers, Kohimarama etc. 3-minute drive to the local supermarkets.
Parking in front of the garage (super safe) is also available.
Single person $320 per week (all expenses included)
Ideal flatmates late 20's, mid 30's. Definitely not a party house!
Bond 3 weeks + 1 week rent in advance.

No pets or smokers.
If interested, please text my husband Tim to organise viewings

Have a great day!

_______________________________________
Waka Kotahi shared that the Auckland Harbour Bridge is now closed to both northbound and southbound traffic as of 1:10PM due to weather.

Damaging gales were predicted to blow up to 110km/h, while strong wind watches are in place for nearly the entire North Island.

MetService said the gales could cause power cuts in Northland, Auckland and Waikato, with the highest winds on westerly coastlines likely to down trees.

What you need to know:
- The Harbour Bridge is closed due to high gust winds.
- Vehicles needing to travel should detour via the Western Ring Route (SH18/SH16) at this time.

But needs an hour or so a week to be maintained by a considerate human that can liase with the fruit shop staff to reduce thier waste & maybe get donations from other businesses ? It's really up to you.

I can assist with some materials to make the storage shelves more weather proof & can take some green wast into the worm farm next to it.

This sort of contribution helps immensly towards native bird populations as the waste protocol as is has caused more rat populations since the closure of the Garden Center.

Only message me if you are serious about helping out.

I am presenting this Petition at Council next week! We are over 3400 signatures now! Please help get it to 5000! Share with everyone. This is the best post for Facebook:

Sale of the #DowntownCarparkBuilding was a decision by Eke Panuku Development Auckland, ratified by the Phil Goff led Auckland Council and then endorsed by the City Vision lead Waitematā Local Board.

This is an important amenity in the Civic Centre of Auckland where ALL ratepayers have a right to access, including those in Remuera.

There is a covenant attached to the sale to provide for bus parking and disabled parking that is NOT sufficient as we rely on this carpark for:
#Convenient - parking in the Viaduct, Commercial Bay, Queen St and Ferry Terminal
#Affordable - it is reasonably priced
#Safety - as it is under cover (for lone females, parents with children and seniors)

#CivicCentre - is open to ALL visitors, especially ratepayers
#Commuters - rely on this to access their work
#InterIslandCommuters - Waiheke and Barrier residents ‘town car’ parking
#FerryCommuters - North Shore, Gulf Harbour and other places car for CBD
#Residents - city apartments without parking (reasonably priced long-term parking)
#ParknRide - when this is the hub for trains, ferries and public transport
#Visitors - day trippers to Waiheke and Barrier
#Tradies, Sales and Service - link to other locations and carry stock or large items

Auckland doesn’t have a connected network of regular, reliable public transport yet, so until such time as we do, it is too soon to sell this Public Facility.

PLEASE SHARE URGENTLY

Don't let your parents go old-school this winter and just throw on another jersey to beat the cold.

They deserve to be truly comfortable in a warm, dry home without stressing about their power bills, or their health.

They might be eligible for Warmer Kiwi Homes, a government grant offering 80% of the cost of ceiling and underfloor insulation, and up to 80% off an energy-efficient heater, like a heat pump.

And they may get it even cheaper than that - lots of community organisations offer extra funding to reduce the cost further.

Go to warmerkiwihomes.govt.nz to check their eligibility.
