Today 45 mature native trees are being destroyed in Canal Road, Avondale today. Despite the community asking to save these trees they are coming down for some future development. Too bad about the community, the birds habitats, climate change, their beauty.

With Covid-19 still a very real risk, people who are unwell are told to stay home, and to keep any sickly kids home too - but what if you don't have any more sick leave owing?
Most Kiwis are entitled to five days of sick leave a year, but some - often those in lower paid jobs - get less.

Growth and development of the face sometimes leaves a minor blemish in a Smile. It is not natural to have a wide gap between front teeth BUT, and if a dentist catches this early ( by age 9 ), it can be helped to close correctly.

Leaving the gap through teenage years pushes the remaining teeth further apart and to correct the gap at a later age can be an expensive option / braces / veneers.
-
In some cultures, a gap is a sign of "Good Luck" and "Fortune", but for the most of us, it is an unsightly presentation and makes us self-conscious.

If your child is developing a wide gap in the front teeth, do come in for a chat to know what can be done to correct this. Call us on 09-6315416 or email caring4smiles@gmail.com for an appointment.
