Our Bmx club is the home of the Westies, we cater for all ages of riders from 3years - anyone that can still ride a bike, we love having a great place to ride with our kids, family and friends.

We need as many votes as possible to keep the track going and ensure we get the full funds allocated to us. We get $5 for every vote received until the Million is gone and we need 13,699 votes to hit our target.

Your support is greatly appreciated. Pop along to the track for a nosey, we race every Friday night (weather dependent)and we have a great canteen open to feed the family to!

Knowing your neighbours is one thing, but actually spending time together is to write a much richer story together... an opportunity to have fun, learn more about each other, and recognise that the strings that connect us often run much longer than just the length of our streets.

This month is all about bringing your community together and having a great time! We want March to be all about celebrating the connections we have while making new ones along the way. As we all know, what makes a neighbourhood great isn't the houses and cars, gardens and streets - it's the people who share their presence and aroha with each other.

A wonderful way to take part is to participate in Neighbours Day Aotearoa which is celebrating it's 10th anniversary from March 22nd to 31st. To help you get started, we love their suggestions for 10 little and 10 big ways to get involved. (link below)

Let us know how you're celebrating this month by tagging us in your posts + using the following hashtag so we can see what you get up to:

Sam needs a home!

Hello neighbours, I'm posting this on behalf of a friend:

Sam is my 11-year old ginger tom cat. He has been with us since he was a kitten back in Hawke's Bay. He's moved with us 5 times and he has always settled in well. He is used to a quiet environment; it's just me and him most of the time. He is happiest when he's cared for gently, and once he trusts you, he is loving and affectionate.

I am looking for a home where Sam is going to be loved as much as we love him. My heart is sore that I have to leave him behind but I have to go to Europe semi-permanently for family reasons.

I am moving out on 10 March.
