Do you know which outdoor spaces in Auckland are becoming smokefree? Click here to read an explainer on the smoking ban.
The Auckland Council announced on October 19 it was banning smoking at more than 800 cafes, restaurants and bars that use its licensed areas for al fresco dining and drinking. The ban would come into effect as owners renew their licences. By December 31, 2019, all eateries with outdoor dining areas will have the rule in place.
Under the new policy, smoking is also banned at parks, beaches, reserves and other council-owned properties.
So what are your thoughts on the ban? How will it affect you or your business? Let us know your thoughts in the replies below!

All in working order and in great condition (have been well looked after) – with eco-bulbs (although cant vouch for all the bulbs being ok as previous owner had taken the lights down when we picked up) and electrical cord (to be installed).
Note – they are sitting on a blue tarpaulin in some of these photos
Might be able to deliver to Auckland region for a fee or pick up is in Waiatarua or Oratia - West Auckland (preferable).
