Mobile micro-abattoir service

We are creating a boutique abattoir, offering services that other abattoir companies can't.

We will bring the abattoir to your place, and process your animals at their home ready to be sold legally to:
- A butcher of your choice?

There isn't a company anywhere in NZ that offers this service! So let's get together and start one! We are holding a meeting at 10am - Saturday 1st December to get the Crafted Meat Company up and running. Come and get in with like-minded people on the ground floor to develop a service that farmers need!

Hi neighbours,

Christmas is supposed to be the jolliest time of year - full of whimsical family reunions, selfless gift-giving and Masterchef-worthy feasts.

But sometimes this just isn't captured on camera. We're after those amazingly awkward Christmas moments that have been captured on film.

Maybe it was the time you went to visit Santa and your little one didn't want a bar of it. Maybe it was a self-timed family shot that went horribly awry. Or a Christmas meal that was more a festive fail.

Whatever the not-so-merry moment, we want to see it! Share your pictures and a little bit about them with us in Stuff Nation. We look forward to seeing them! Here's the link to contribute.

The New Zealand Transport Agency is urging more than 3700 car owners to get their warrants of fitness rechecked following the suspension of an Auckland certifier Westland Mechanical and Tyre.

The agency said the business traded as Westland Automotive and Tyre in Henderson and its sole director and shareholder Akram Zakeri has also been suspended as a vehicle inspector.

The action came after concerns about his failure to check some aspects of vehicles during warrant of fitness (WOF) assessments, such as brakes, seatbelts, steering and exhaust systems. Read more
