Sadly pneumonia accounts for 16% of all deaths of children under 5 years old, killing 920 136 children in 2015.

Although vaccines and other preventative efforts are decreasing the burden of the disease, much more work is still required.
Those living in poor communities are at highest risk of pneumonia. Every child, regardless of where they are born, deserves access to lifesaving vaccines and medicines.

We picked up this ugly guy on Tuesday night while out walking. Wondering if anybody with pigeons or birds might be happy to look after him. He is not tiny and quickly came back to life with warmth and food.

I am not a bird person and have two cats so he is currently in a box under my bathroom sink, which is far from ideal.

He is getting use to me and I have been taking him back to the park twice a day to pigeon with the others there. Unfortunately I have some long work days coming up and I won't have time to care for him.
