If the vehicle owner hasn't noticed the puncture and there's remaining fuel in the tank, the owner could unknowingly leave a trail behind them that could be ignited by something like a misplaced cigarette.
Be wary of the smell of petrol fumes, liquid spotted on the ground at back of car, and petrol light coming on unexpectedly.
If you have any information about this incident, please call Auckland Central Police Station on 09 302 6400 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

A friendly reminder for anyone who would like to help Wilson, we are collecting 3XL-4XL new clothing for him. His nurse, Zoe, informed me he was in particular need of extra clothing and this was one way our community could lend a helping hand.
Please drop these off at the Onehunga Business Association, 149 Onehunga Mall this week and we will have them delivered to Wilson.
As a reshare, below is the photo of Zoe accepting our community card on Wilson's behalf (he was still sleeping we I visited)

Officer Andrew Savage and his partner Arlo joined us to show off Arlos impressive skills. Arlo is off to Wellington shortly to do the last three weeks of his training before graduating and hitting the streets of Auckland. Arlo is 2 1/2 and weighs in at over 40kg.....not something you would want to mess with! The focus on his handler was amazing (which is a good thing!) they ran through obedience and bite training. Lots of questions were answered.....a few curly ones as well! Thank you so much to the NZ Police for sharing Arlo with us.
